Windshield Van Bodies

  • Model 150, 200

Relative to other non-Unruh Fab folding peg racks where all the pegs fold in the same direction, the Model 150 and 200 offer the advantage of having the pegs fold at an angle.

Since windshields are curved, having both pegs fold straight back can be problematic since they will fold into the center bow of the windshield with the front pegs or the tail with the rear pegs. This can force delivery personnel either to lift the windshield over the peg or trying to slide the windshield around the peg; either of these approaches defeats the purpose of having folding pegs.

By having the common direction pegs fall at an angle, the user can drop both pegs before removing the windshield easily.

    Features:

    • Capacity: Up to 15 (Model 150) or 20 (Model 200) automotive windshields
    • Folding pegs 20″ usable height
    • Pegs fold down at 15 degrees, allowing the peg to fall around the center bow and tail of the windshield rather than into the windshield
    • 5/8″ Pegs for added strength and durability
    • Caster rear wheels and front bearings; Two of each for each rack
    • Built-in lock system with spring
    • Can be installed in commercial vans, Sprinter, ProMaster, NV or Transit vans or boxes (as shown)
